The other negative reviews are valid. Most of the plants are in a bad state. They are not cared for properly. The lady at the front is rude and not helpful.

This nursery is the real deal. I've been to many really good ones and the best ones always have a certain vibe. Plant experts. Very knowledgable! Great exotics.

I couldn't agree more on all the comments. The woman behind the cash register is rude, unpleasant, short, snarky and makes you feel an inconvenience for being there. When I walked into the store, she was talking to someone (I thought he was a customer) and it was only the 3 of us. So maybe after 15 minutes, I asked her a question then I realized, the man she's been talking to was a friend visiting her. She was unhappy of my disruption. I even apologized and the man politely said, "it's okay, we're friends and I come visit her all the time." So, after that, that's when I experienced all of the unpleasantness from her. No wonder when I walked in, no greetings like "welcome to our nursery" or "good morning." With all of these negative comments, why aren't the owner/owners doing something to rectify this? I love to support local businesses and like some customers, I'm NOT, NEVER going back. The gardener outside, with difficulty explaining to me in English was putting more effort, more helpful. REPLACE the woman, fire her already, PLEASE!

All the staff OTHER THAN the lady at the cashier are great. I had asked the lady at the cashier for advice and I got very arrogant rude vibes about simple fertilizer and watering advice. They have a nice selection of plants outside, their green house could use more plants though. Gardening isnโt easy for everyone, it would be nice to have something kind guidanceโฆ just wasnโt getting it from this placeโฆbetter off going to Armstrong

This Nursery is a sanctuary to me. They only sell the highest quality plants and outdoes anything sold at overpriced mass market chains like Armstrong, Home Depot or Loweโs whose plants are listless and practically made out of paper and chemicals. It reminds me of the special nurseries I used to visit in Northern California. This is a local family owned legacy business, and its staff are experts. I was shocked to read these horrific reviews on google complaining about the products and the owners. I can only imagine the fault to lie with the posters. Frankie is a brilliant woman who curates her selection for quality like her incomparable Icelandic poppies and shasta daisies . I asked for some pink jasmine from Frankie and Curtis and the ones they got for me are the only ones who survived this last heatwave. The Home Depot ones disintegrated. Shop Elwood and earn respect from Frankie because she is a true Mother Earth legend.
